Hello, we are Roman, Rebecca, and Roman Jr. We are an Amish
family and we
live on a small farm in rural Pennsylvania. We have been
blessed with the birth
and adoption of our only child, Roman Jr. He was born in
August of 2002. We
pray that we can grow our family again through adoption. Our
families are quite familiar with adoption and share in the excitement of our
dream. Becky's mother was also adopted herself.
Roman owns his own construction company, and Becky is a stay at home mom
and homemaker. The region we live in has beautiful season
changes. The winters
are cold with plenty of snow. The holidays are celebrated with
large family gatherings and dinners. We are busy in the spring planting our
garden. In the summer we like to visit amusement parks and enjoy boating,
picnics, and swimming. The fall scenery is spectacular with the color changes of
the leaves.
We understand that this is probably the most difficult decision you will ever
make. You can feel confident that your child will be raised in a family
surrounded by love.

Hello. Our names are Maureen and Lou. We have been happily
married for over
7 1/2 years. When
we found out Maureen couldn't have children, we decided adoption was the answer
to our prayers. We have so much love to give a child
and can't wait to
become parents.
My sister adopted a little girl and she brings such joy to the entire family.
The cousins will have a special bond. Adoption is a way of making all of our
dreams
come true.
We live in a three bedroom house and there are a lot of children of all ages in
our neighborhood.
I will be a stay at home mom and Lou works at night so his
days are free to
spend quality time with the family.

Hi, we're Gina and Sal from New Jersey.
First and foremost we want you to
know that we realize that this will be the
biggest and most difficult decision
you will ever have to make and we understand
what a great amount of courage
and selflessness it takes and we commend you.
We have been happily married for 5 years and just like every other all American
couple we were ready to start our family after our first year or marriage. This
was when we found out that Gina is not able to
conceive. We knew immediately
that adoption would be the answer to our prayers
and we hope to be the answer
to your prayers.
Both being from catholic, Italian families we were both taught the same morals,
values and respect. We believe that our child should be diversified and live
well balanced life which includes a good education as well as fun.
We enjoy doing many different things like going to amusement parks, taking
long trips in the car, going to concerts just to
name a few. We have an annual
July 4th BBQ, which our family and friends look
forward to all year round and in October we go Pumpkin Picking with our cousins
and their children, than in
January it’s off to a long ski weekend. These
are just a few of the many things
we look forward to doing year after year.
We are lucky to have our family
nearby. Besides the usual holidays and
birthdays there is always a special
occasion to celebrate or a party to attend.
We love the life we have built
together and hope to be blessed with a child to
love and nurture and open
our hearts and home to.
We are very excited about becoming parents. Our family and friends are all
equally excited about our adoption plans and
can't wait for there to be a new
baby in the family to love, fuss over and spoil.

Hi, we are Amanda, Dennis, Joseph and Elizabeth,
and we are looking forward
to meeting you.
We live in a great neighborhood and have a great house. In our neighborhood,
we have a swimming pool, a lake with a beach, a
restaurant and a sports complex. Joseph and Elizabeth are already involved in
sports activities which they love.
We have a dog named Zoe and she loves playing
with everyone in the family.
We are very lucky because our Nanny and Papaw
live in the same neighborhood
as us and we see them almost everyday. Dennis
works full-time and Amanda
works one day a week. Joseph and Elizabeth get
to spend the day with their aunt and cousins when Amanda works. We are very
close with our extended family
and we get together for holidays, birthdays, and
“just because”! Everyone in our family accepts adoption and Joseph and Elizabeth
are treated just the same as everyone that is biologically a part of our family.
We know that this is a life changing journey for you. We will never be able to
express to you in words what it means to us to take this journey with you. We
know that children are a precious gift and we
cherish ours everyday. We can’t
wait for our new bundle of joy to come home so
we can fill him or her with love
and he or she can fill our lives with love. We
know this is a challenging time for

Dear Birthmother,
Since we have adopted before, we know that you come to this process with
many hopes, dreams, and fears, just as we do.
The right family is waiting for you...we hope it's us!
Who we are: We live in San Antonio, Texas, and have been married for nine
years. For several years before we met, Lindsey
used to see Jan around, and
she would think, "There's that cute trumpet
player," not knowing that one day
she'd meet and marry him!
Jan is a member of the San Antonio Symphony, and teaches at two universities.
Lindsey teaches voice at a private studio, and is an actor and writer. Since we
can arrange our own schedules, one of us is
almost always home to care for our children.
Is adoption right for us? Yes! In 2001 we adopted a special boy: Benjamin
Joseph. He is going to be a great big brother! He already knows it is his
job to take care
of any child who is smaller than him. When we go
to the grocery store, he points
at the second child seat in the cart and says,
"That's where a brother can sit!"
(Or a sister!)
Our hopes for our children: We want our children to love learning, be willing to
stand up for what they believe, and have the
opportunity to become what they want to do and be in this world. As parents, we
will provide unconditional love.
In our home, there is lots of music, and mommy
and daddy don't mind getting
down on the floor and acting silly!
Open Adoption: Since we've adopted before, we know what it's like to become
part of a birth mother's life, and she part of
ours. We feel this is very important
to Benjamin as he grows up. Most importantly, we
